Business Licencing—Support

Hakuba-area lodging and food business permits are issued by the Omachi Health Center (Omachi Hokenjo). All procedures are conducted in Japanese and usually require several weekday visits for pre-checks and inspections. If you’d like to stay focused on your business, we're here to handle the paperwork and coordination for you clearly, and efficiently.
 

Hotel (Ryokan) License Support
From your first consultation with the Omachi Health Center to attending the Fire Department inspection, the on-site hotel/ryokan inspection, and filing under the Water Pollution Control Law—we prepare the documents and keep you informed. Fees depend on your facility's layout and systems; please share your floor plans and we'll provide a clear estimate.
 

Food Business (Restaurant) License Support
We handle the pre-consultation with the Omachi Health Center on your behalf, help you prepare for the site inspection, and attend on the day so everything goes smoothly. We can also assist with enrollment in the Food Hygiene Manager course. When you reach out, sending your floor plans and a draft menu helps us get started right away.

 

If renovations or equipment work are needed for approval, we can also provide interpreting for meetings with contractors (additional fee).
